FOEM is the only 501(c)(3) charitable organization created for the specific purpose of providing fun

Improving patient care by advancing osteopathic emergency medicine through research and education. The Foundation of Osteopathic Emergency Mecicine (FOEM) is the philantrhropic arm of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP). Founded in 1998, its purpose is to develop grants, awards, and programs to support research and education in osteopathic emergency medicine.

Our community of osteopathic emergency physicians is on the front lines of care—but we also face serious challenges when it comes to our own mental health.

A recent report shows progress in addressing stigma, yet nearly 1 in 6 physicians have contemplated su***de. That is a sobering reminder of the work still ahead. We remain committed to advocating for systemic change, supporting our members, and creating a culture where well-being is prioritized. 💙
