We were at my cousin’s house yesterday. (I call her Aunt Geri, pictured bottom right). These are some of the 10 Pfau (fow) kids. My maternal grandmother’s sister, Clara.
I had read Aunt Geri some months ago. Her late husband, Butch, a real card he was so funny, showed up for the reading. So did Grandmoms Stopfer and Pfau. The lights were going so crazy and the clock was dinging it was like a very funny poltergeist! I told Geri Butch would keep doing this as the rest of the family, especially when everyone got together. Our fam has always been close-knit. And we have a lot of jokers in the mix. Butch was the biggest jokester of them all.
Yesterday, we were waiting for the pizza delivery. Both Sharon and I said at the same time someone had to get the door bc the doorbell just rang. *****The pizza guy wasn’t there. And Geri doesn’t have a doorbell. Soooo Butch.
The light flickered. The clock that had batteries die out for the 3rd time since the beginning of the summer (the clock has always been fine until Butch told me he was going to play with the clock), made noise. How does a clock make noise when the battery is out?) we all know.
