Supporting your thyroid health starts with simple daily habits. Start your day with water and a balanced breakfast that is rich in protein and healthy fats. Manage stress by taking regular breaks and practicing deep breathing exercises. Nourish your body with selenium and iodine-rich foods while avoiding processed meals. Stay active with daily movement and prioritize restful sleep with a consistent routine. Be mindful of environmental toxins by opting for natural products and avoiding plastic. Small changes add up to significant improvements in thyroid function and overall wellness. Consistency is key to feeling your best every day.⁣

Most people think thyroid issues are all about weight gain. However, the truth is that your thyroid controls far more than the number on the scale. ⁣
➡️The most common cause of hypothyroidism is actually Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune condition, not just a hormone imbalance.⁣
➡️Many Hashimoto’s cases are only half-treated with medication. If you don’t support the immune system, the root cause remains untouched.⁣
➡️Having elevated thyroid levels, even within the “normal” range, during the first trimester of pregnancy increases the risk of postpartum thyroiditis.⁣
➡️Thyroid hormones are involved in everything from brain function to gut motility to fertility. It’s not just about your metabolism.⁣
➡️TSH alone doesn’t tell the whole story. Many women are told they’re fine based on one lab, yet still feel exhausted, foggy, and off.⁣

Properly balanced hormone health starts with your thyroid. When thyroid levels are truly optimized—not just “in range”—it lays the foundation for better energy, mood, metabolism, and overall wellness. And that all begins with proper, comprehensive testing.⁣

At Infinite Wellness, we examine the entire picture to identify the root cause. You deserve answers, not band-aid solutions.⁣

Let’s bust a myth! Weight gain isn’t always just about diet and exercise. A sluggish thyroid can slow metabolism, increase water retention, and cause hormone resistance.

You’re doing all the “right” things — green smoothies, daily workouts, maybe even fasting… but somehow, you feel worse.
Fatigued. Bloated. Cold. Your period’s a mess. Your hair’s thinning.

Here’s the thing no one tells you: if you have thyroid issues — especially Hashimoto’s — your well-intentioned routine could be working against you.

High-intensity workouts every day can spike cortisol and stress your adrenal glands, which in turn impact your thyroid hormone conversion — particularly from T4 to T3 (the active form your cells need). Add in fasting or under-eating? Your body goes into conservation mode, slowing its metabolism to “protect” you.
This doesn’t mean you should stop eating greens or exercising — it means your plan needs to be personalized to work with your thyroid, not against it.

Healing your thyroid isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing what’s right for you.

Let’s break down how the less-than-optimal thyroid production could impact your mental health.

1️⃣Production and regulation of thyroid hormones begins in the brain.
2️⃣Thyroid releasing hormone signals to our pituitary gland to release TSH. TSH signals to the thyroid gland to make T4 and T3.
3️⃣Many autoimmune thyroid conditions are linked to mental health dysfunctions.

In having the right micronutrients and optimizing thyroid function, many mental health concerns can be improved. "

Struggling with low energy, brain fog, or stubborn weight gain even with thyroid meds? The missing link might be hiding in your gut. 👀

Let’s talk about the powerful connection between your thyroid and your gut.
Spoiler alert: You can’t fully heal one without addressing the other.

- About 70% of your immune system lives in your gut.
- Your gut microbiome affects how well you convert T4 to active T3 (your main thyroid hormones).
- Inflammation or leaky gut can drive autoimmune thyroid disease like Hashimoto’s.
- Nutrient absorption (like selenium, iron, zinc, and iodine) depends on gut health.

If your gut is off, your thyroid doesn’t stand a chance.
If your thyroid is sluggish, your gut slows down too.
It’s a vicious cycle but you can break it. 🔄

Here’s what we see all the time:
People are told their labs are “normal,” but still feel awful.
The real issue? And the one avenue that someone can take is looking at their gut because their gut is inflamed, imbalanced, or not absorbing nutrients properly.

Healing your gut can:
✔ Improve T3 conversion
✔ Calm autoimmunity
✔ Reduce bloating and brain fog
✔ Restore energy and metabolism
✔ Help you finally feel like yourself again

It’s not about “quick fixes.” It’s about addressing the root cause. Start with your gut.
