‼️List of foods to AVOID while breastfeeding!

⭐️Basically, for most breastfeeding parents, there are NO foods to avoid! Make sure you are eating enough each day to nourish your body while you are busy making milk!!

If you suspect your baby is sensitive to something in your diet, make an appointment so we can figure it out together.

⭐️Breastfeeding while sick can feel like a tough challenge, but it's important to remember that breast milk is packed with antibodies that help protect your baby.
⭐️Even when you're under the weather, your body is working overtime to provide them with the best defense.
⭐️If you're feeling too unwell, rest, hydrate, and take it easy—but don't be afraid to keep nursing. Your baby benefits from your milk, and you get the bonding and comfort too.

❤️All of you who know me know that I absolutely love serving my families during their unique journeys and that this is my heart's passion and what I was created to do. That is why this post is so very difficult.

Your 👏🏻 colostrum 👏🏻 is 👏🏻 enough 👏🏻

Weight loss in the first few days of life is normal and your colostrum is not to blame. Baby’s stomach is very small in the early days when you’re feeding colostrum. Their stomach gets bigger around day 3-5 when you would expect your milk to come in! Your body is amazing, mom! You are exactly what your baby needs.
