My wife and I have been doing Function Health for 2 years now. Basically, it is a cash pay high value blood testing service only available when you go to a Quest Lab. We love it!!!
Your bloodwork information is uploaded to the Function Health digitial learning platform and gives you amazing insight into what is going on inside your body by testing over 100 things in your blood once per year and then 60 mid year. You can easily see trends over the past few years which helps to spot issues early.
The app shows your top 5 supplements and top 5 foods to eat and avoid based upon your personal blood work which can be easily shared with your primary care provider. It is less than $500/year and HSA/FSA money can be used. We offer it to pur employees. Many more tests are available as well.
All of this savings is because you cut out layers of insurance and health care bureaucracy to save you money while driving innovation and real price reduction through the free market.
