We are so sad to hear of Dr. Montomery's passing and grateful for what we've been able to learn from him at SOPCon and through his medical research. Dr. Montgomery and his team helped very sick patients with severe cardiac disease return to wellness, reduce and remove medications and make lasting lifestyle modifications to heal their hearts and bodies. His work demonstrating how EBOO therapy can improve the heart's pumping mechanism after a heart attack was groundbreaking. It also didn't "qualify" for what many medical professionals feel to be necessary evidence because he didn't turn patients away that needed EBOO (it wasn't a "double blind, randomized controlled trial). He tailored their treatment plans to meet their needs, not a black and white medical study that doomed some to normal/poor recovery and benefitted others to heal. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved founder and CEO, Dr. Montgomery, on Saturday, May 24, 2025. A board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist, Dr. Montgomery was a visionary in integrative medicine whose legacy of healing and innovation has touched the lives of thousands.

As we honor his legacy, we remain committed to continuing his mission. The Montgomery Heart & Wellness Clinic will reopen on Wednesday, May 28, under the leadership of the Interim Medical Director, Dr. Ijeoma A. Ekeruo.

Hand-selected and trained by Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Ekeruo comes to the clinic as a highly respected physician, board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and pediatrics. With her expertise, we are confident that she will carry forward Dr. Montgomery’s vision with the same excellence and integrity that defined his life’s work.

We’ll share more details soon about the memorial service and ways to honor his accomplishments. Thank you for being part of the Montgomery Heart & Wellness community and for honoring Dr. Montgomery’s extraordinary life.
