So much fun today with our staff and residents 🐰💛

From bowling with real duck eggs (yes… real eggs 😅) trying to knock down chocolate Easter bunnies… to staff and residents teaming up for a bunny hunt… to our very competitive staff Easter egg hunt… it was one of those days you just had to be there for 🐣

We had staff on their hands and knees playing Minute to Win It games (because apparently dignity was optional today 😂), a few eggs being thrown instead of balloons (no injuries… just a lot of laughter), and let’s not forget our Easter Bingo Bunny Queens holding it down 👑

Days like today are what it’s all about… laughter, teamwork, a little chaos, and making moments that matter for our residents 💛

Just a beautiful day all around 🐰🌷✨

We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Linda Ball for the beautiful fidget blankets for our memory care residents, the Ladies of the Nannie Bland David Circle of Bethany Baptist Church for the thoughtful Easter bags, and Beverly Kondas for the cozy lap blankets and Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle for the Easter Cards.

These acts of kindness truly make a difference in the lives of our residents. We are so thankful for a community that continues to support, uplift, and love on them the way you do.

We had a little April Fools fun in the building today… and let’s just say, our residents were ready to take action! 😄✉️

After hearing about some “new regulations,” they were prepared to start writing letters to Congress — until the big reveal… April Fools! 😂

Their reactions were the best part — full of smiles, laughter, and a few “you got us!” moments that made the whole day even more fun ❤️

Egg stuffing is serious business today! Our residents are busy getting everything ready for the preschoolers’ Easter egg hunt. We think the residents might be just as excited as the kids. 🐣🍬🥚

Keeping minds active and spirits high in Memory Care!

One of today’s activities was “Guess in 10” trivia, one of our residents’ favorites. Activities like this help stimulate memory, encourage thinking skills, and keep their minds engaged — all while having fun together.

Today Karyn, one of our corporate directors, spent time with our staff reviewing ADL care, and she made it fun with quiz questions and prizes along the way. The smiles, laughter, and a few snickers say it all — learning never stops here, and our team always shows up ready. We are so proud of the dedication our staff has to providing the best care possible every single day.

🍀😂 Leprechaun Invasion at Northern Neck Senior Care! 😂🍀

We may or may not have had a little St. Patrick’s Day mischief happening in the building today…

In honor of the holiday, staff decided to play a prank on our fearless leader and hid nearly 100 leprechauns with HER face on them all over the building — in offices, on doors, in drawers, at the nurses station, in therapy, in the kitchen… EVERYWHERE.

Staff were challenged to find them throughout the day and take selfies with each one they spotted 📸🍀
The rule?
The more selfies you sent in, the better your chances at winning a prize!

Needless to say…
Things got competitive REAL fast 😆

We had staff running down the halls, checking every corner, peeking in rooms, and laughing the entire time. Some people found a few… some found a LOT… and some may still be finding leprechauns days from now 👀🍀

The smiles, the laughs, and the teamwork today were exactly what makes this place so special.
We work hard every day, but we also make sure to have fun while we do it.

And don’t worry…
Our boss was a great sport about having her face turned into 100 leprechauns 😂

Today we’re celebrating our fearless leader, our Long Term Care Administrator, Shantee Washington.

Shantee is the kind of administrator every building hopes for — supportive, involved, and always right there with us. She truly loves her staff, but anyone who knows her knows she loves our residents even more.

She’s never afraid to jump in, get on the floor, help wherever she’s needed, and she brings so much fun, laughter, and positive energy to our building every single day.

We are so lucky to have a leader who cares the way she does.

Thank you for everything you do for all of us, Shantee!

The Shamrock Sip & Stroll Bar Hop might go down as one of our favorite events yet! 🍀
Every department showed up ready with decorations, music, drinks, snacks, raffles, and outfits, and the residents had the best time making their way from bar to bar. We don’t know who had more fun — the residents or the staff!

And because we like a little competition around here, staff spent the whole day playing Leprechaun in My Pocket, trying to keep leprechauns in their pockets without getting them stolen from other staff. There were lots of laughs, and a few lucky winners at the end of the day!

Safe to say… this St. Patrick’s Day was one for the books! 🍀

Today we are celebrating Social Worker Day!
Our Social Worker, Brittany Hodges, plays such an important role in the lives of our residents and their families. Her kindness, patience, and dedication help make our facility feel like home, and we are so grateful for everything she does behind the scenes and every day in between.
