💘 Love Was in the Air at Northern Neck Senior Care Community! 💘

Each unit hosted their own special party with games, treats, and of course… the crowning of our Valentine’s royalty 👑

Our residents enjoyed festive games, delicious treats, and sparkling rosé topped with cotton candy that fizzed right before their eyes — it was a magical (and tasty!) hit! ✨🥂

And of course… we couldn’t leave our amazing staff out of the fun! ❤️
They participated in a Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt searching for hidden bears throughout the building (with two lucky winners 🎉), enjoyed a Dirty Soda Bar, and plenty of sweet treats as a thank-you for the love and care they show every single day.

🍕 National Pizza Day Fun! 🍕

Today our residents celebrated the most delicious holiday the best way possible — by making their own homemade pizzas!

We used English muffins for the crust, and let’s just say… minds were blown 🤯💛 So many said, “I would’ve never thought to use English muffins!”

From spreading sauce to choosing toppings, everyone had a hand in creating their perfect little pizza. The smiles, laughter, and “taste testing” made it a huge hit!

Simple, fun, and tasty — just the kind of moments we love to create ❤️

🐾 Groundhog Hunt with a Twist!
Our Educator turned a groundhog hunt into an Enhanced Barrier Precautions education activity. Staff searched high and low, learned important safety practices, and of course… we had winners and prizes! 🏆

❤️ Heart Health Day
Today we wore RED to support heart health and wrapped it up with games, laughs, and (you guessed it) more prizes! Because taking care of our hearts matters just as much as the care we give others.

We believe a strong team is built through education, teamwork, and a little friendly competition 😉

Our residents were on the move today for a special Groundhog Day Hunt — and let’s just say, they were serious about the search! 👀

After being cooped up inside all week because of the snow and ice, this was the perfect way to get everyone up, walking, stretching, and having a blast together. Groundhogs were hiding high and low… and the excitement really picked up when everyone realized there was still ONE left that hadn’t been found! The determination was real! 😄

We wrapped up the fun with Groundhog Day trivia and games, lots of laughs, and great conversation. Days like this remind us that a little creativity goes a long way in keeping spirits bright and bodies moving. 💛

🎸💙 Well, well, well… look who left the building and came to visit us today! 💙🎸

Elvis Presley stopped by and had our residents all shook up with an afternoon full of music, smiles, and toe-tapping fun. From singing along to clapping hands, the joy in the room said it all — not just a performance, but a memory made.

Today we had our long term care, skilled and memory care Residents’ Christmas Party, welcoming families to join us for a day filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful moments. From sharing a wonderful meal together to the excitement of Santa arriving to personally hand out Angel Tree gifts, the smiles, laughter, and gratitude in the room were truly priceless.

This celebration, and every gift our residents received, was made possible because of our incredibly generous and supportive community. Your kindness ensured that our residents felt remembered, valued, and deeply loved this Christmas season. We are profoundly grateful for each person who played a part in making this day happen.

We are also so thankful for our dedicated staff. Team members from every department stepped in — serving, setting up, breaking down, and doing whatever was needed without hesitation. We are especially thankful for our Dietary Department, who prepared delicious food for everyone to enjoy. It was a true team effort and a powerful reflection of the heart behind our care.

Today was more than a party — it was a reminder of the impact of compassion, teamwork, and community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this Christmas so meaningful for our residents. ❤️✨

Day 3 was Ugly Christmas Sweater Day and our staff Christmas party—and the sweaters definitely brought the fun! 🎅😂
Beyond the laughs and festive outfits, it was a special time to celebrate a team that gives so much all year long. Between the delicious food, the thoughtful gifts, and the joy in the room, we were reminded just how grateful we are for each and every one of you. We truly have the best team around ❤️🎄
