We need to start talking more about movement. Let's start with what motivates us - what helps get us going and what helps us with consistency. This is Jen - I'll go first.

Sneakers, tennis shoes, tennies (my fav) - whatever you call them - good ones are a must for me and my grumpy back. Having one good pair of tennies is a huge factor in my consistency when it comes to walking or running - probably because of the comfort during the activity and FOR SURE because of the difference they make in how I feel the day AFter the activity.

Wellness is so much more than what’s on your plate, how you move, or what your hormones are doing. True, whole-body health includes your mental space and your relationships, too.

In 2025, I started keeping a gratitude journal. Now in 2026, my favorite daily routine is looking back at what I was thankful for on this exact date last year.

It’s a powerful reminder that taking care of yourself doesn't have to look fancy or fit a certain aesthetic. It’s about the small, daily practices that ground you.
