Over the past week, I have shared the gut health science, GLP-1 data, recovery services, and the real healing process.

I support GLP-1 peptides. I also think that there is a conversation missing in some protocols.

The research on Semaglutide and Tirzepatide is compelling. The inflammation data alone changed my thinking. These are powerful tools.

Like any powerful tool, how it is used matters.

Dosing is one piece of that conversation. When the body doesn’t have the nutritional and lifestyle support it needs alongside the peptide, muscle loss, nutrient depletion, and gut dysfunction can follow. Not because the peptide is wrong, but because the support isn’t there.

One of the most important things to consider alongside a GLP is body composition, not just weight. A regular scale cannot tell you if you are losing fat and muscle. On a GLP, that distinction is everything.

From there, the questions become- is she hitting her protein target? Is her gut being supported? Is she eating enough fiber? Is she strength training?

The in between space is where I come in. Nutrition, gut support, lifestyle support. This helps build results that last.

What a gut health coach actually eats- and it’s probably not what you expect.

No elimination diet. Nothing extreme. No giving up coffee.

Protein first every morning. Fiber at every meal. Clean, whole foods about 80% of the time. Shade grown coffee because I love it and not apologizing for it.

The other 20% is life. Life is part of the protocol.

Gut health isn’t perfection. Its about consistency. Small choices compound into real results.

This is what I practice. This is what I teach.

It wasn’t dramatic for me. Not overnight.

It was consistent, deliberate, and built on identifying what was causing my symptoms.

Insulin resistance. SIBO. Fatty liver. Hormones changing.

I had to decide if I wanted this trajectory to continue, or put in the work to actually understand what was happening in my body and change it?

I chose the work.

And what I found along the way surprised me. Extreme protocols and strict elimination diets aren’t necessary. Consistency and slow changes win the race. It changed everything.

My story is not identical to every woman I work with. The root causes are different. The timeline is different. The protocol is different.

When a woman sits across from me and says “I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but something is”, I know how that feels.

This is why I do the work that I do. Not to sell a program or a protocol, , but because I know how it feels to be in a body that’s not feeling the best. I also know how it feels to be on the other side of that.
