Parkview Health has been named the No. 5 Most Loved Workplace in the 2025 Top 100 list, ranked by the Best Practices Institute (BPI) and published today by the Wall Street Journal.

The No. 5 ranking is another Top 10 finish for Parkview, which was ranked No. 7 in 2024 by BPI and Newsweek.

“We are proud to once again be recognized as one of the nation’s best workplaces,” said Dena Jacquay, chief administrative officer, Parkview Health. “We have worked hard to create one of the best workplace cultures in the nation by listening to our co-workers and responding to their needs. Through the support that we provide our workforce of more than 17,500, Parkview strives to unlock the potential of every co-worker, so they can bring their best selves to work and deliver the best care to our patients.”

This year’s Most Loved rankings highlight 100 organizations across industries that are transforming employee experience and redefining retention strategies in today’s economy.

The 2025 America’s Most Loved Workplaces® list is grounded in proof from employees themselves. Research was conducted by BPI using the proprietary Love of Workplace Index® and advanced sentiment analysis. This methodology captures how employees truly experience their workplace — measuring emotional connection, collaboration, respect, alignment of values, and achievement. More than 2.8 million U.S. employees were surveyed across companies of all sizes and industries. Hundreds of executives were also interviewed to provide context on culture, leadership and strategy.

Parkview has been recognized as a Most Loved Workplace for three consecutive years now, improving from No. 87 in 2023 to No. 7 in 2024 and No. 5 this year. Parkview continues to invest in its co-workers and culture through competitive pay and a wide suite of benefits.

All nine Parkview Health hospitals in Indiana were recently recognized by Practice Greenhealth for their ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability in healthcare.

Parkview Noble Hospital was recognized with the Partner for Change Award, while Parkview DeKalb Hospital, Parkview Hospital Randallia, Parkview Huntington Hospital, Parkview Kosciusko Hospital, Parkview LaGrange Hospital, Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Wabash Hospital and Parkview Whitley Hospital were awarded the Partner Recognition.

The Greenhealth Partner for Change Award recognizes superior performance in environmental sustainability, covering a range of different sustainability programs and activities. The Partner Recognition Award recognizes facilities that have a commitment to environmental improvements and have achieved progress in several areas of the organization.

“Parkview’s focus is caring for the health and well-being of our patients and communities, but we also have a responsibility to protect the health of our environment,” said Tom Minnich, vice president of facilities. “Parkview is always seeking ways to be more efficient and implement sustainable practices, which helps maintain our environment while also creating value and savings for our patients.”

Parkview has engaged in numerous sustainability projects across the system, some of which earned recognition by the American Society for Health Care Engineering in 2024. Those initiatives include a monitoring-based commissioning, which identifies and addresses hidden issues to optimize building performance; building commissioning, which validates and tests the performance of mechanical, electrical and control systems as well as building envelope integrity and air infiltration; and retro-commissioning, which improves the performance of older buildings to meet current efficiency goals.

Practice Greenhealth is the leading membership and networking organization for sustainable healthcare, delivering solutions to more than 1,700 U.S. hospitals and health systems. The organization has recognized healthcare facilities and health systems for their commitment to environmental stewardship and their sustainability achievements since launching its awards program in 2002.

Parkview Health and Ortho NorthEast (ONE) celebrated the opening of the Parkview | ONE Surgery Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on October 8. The new orthopedic ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and medical office building are located at 335 E 200 N, just north of Parkview Kosciusko Hospital.

On October 27, the 14,750-square-foot ASC will open to patients to offer a broad range of outpatient services, including total joint replacements, sports medicine procedures such as ACL reconstruction, and surgeries for the spine, hand and upper extremities.

“ONE and Parkview share a lasting commitment to delivering exceptional orthopedic care,” said Dr. Chris Johnson, president, ONE. “With fellowship-trained, subspecialized surgeons, the Parkview | ONE Surgery Center will bring advanced care options directly to the Warsaw community.”

The campus is designed to bring every step of a patient’s orthopedic care to one location. A new Parkview Physicians Group (PPG) clinic will open on the same day, just east of the surgery center, and a ONE clinic will follow in January 2026 to the west. Together, these facilities create a convenient destination where patients can receive consultations, procedures and follow-up care all in one place.

With state-of-the-art surgical suites and equipment, the center is designed to support minimally invasive procedures, helping patients benefit from shorter recovery times.

“This surgery center represents the next step in expanding the range of orthopedic care options available locally,” said Dr. Alan McGee, president, Parkview Health Orthopedics. “Between the center’s same-day discharge model and on-site clinics, patients can receive the full continuum of care here that rivals what they currently travel for. By combining advanced surgical technology with same-day discharges, we’re helping patients recover safely and comfortably at home, without compromising the quality of their care.”
