Bubsa, a beloved feline companion, crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Known for his relaxed demeanor and affectionate personality, Bubsa had a unique way of showing his devotion, often choosing his mom, Gracie Compton, by rubbing against her legs – a gentle testament to their bond. For those fortunate enough to have witnessed him enjoy being scratched his ears, it was a heartwarming sight to see his tail wagging in sheer joy.

Bubsa's spirit will be remembered fondly by his loving family, including his dad, Ryan Thompson, and his best friends, fellow cats Pedro and Sketch, as well as numerous neighborhood companions. His favorite hobbies included delighting in his sparkle ball, which brought him boundless joy, and relishing the sun on his porch, where he could bask in the warmth of both the sun and the companionship of his family.

Home – for Bubsa, it truly was where his family was. His legacy of love and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to share their lives with him.

M. Ed Huffer, age 83, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 3, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on May 20, 1942 to Morton and Gladys (Minear) Huffer. Ed was a proud graduate of Warsaw High School, class of 1960. He would marry his wife Suzanne Mollenhour on August 27, 1960.He dedicated much of his career to the family business, Huffer Foundry, alongside his brothers, until 1968.
