⚠️ HEADS UP! This is for anyone who sends charitable gifts via USPS in the final days of the year: it looks like there is a new USPS procedure where the postmark is not being applied until the mail hits the regional distribution center (as opposed to the local post office). 📫📆

This means that your mail dropped in a mail receptacle on 12/31 may not be postmarked until 1/2 or later - meaning it would not qualify for 2025 charitable deductions. This would also mean it wouldn't count toward Heartline's year-end match campaign! 😬

The recommendations are to a) get checks in the mail a bit earlier this year, b) get the postmark applied manually at your local post office, or c) drop the check off in person (if Heartline is closed, you can just slide it under our door). Happy giving, and Merry Christmas!🎄💕
