It's fall! ๐Ÿ‚ Time for Chili! Here's a healthy
Crockpot Pumpkin Turkey Chili Recipe! If you have leftovers put it over a sweet potato!๐Ÿ˜‹

Servings: 6โ€“8

Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground turkey
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed & drained
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
1 can (15 oz) pumpkin purรฉe (NOT pumpkin pie filling)
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth (more if you want thinner chili)
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
ยฝ tsp cinnamon (optional, but really brings out the pumpkin flavor)
Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a skillet, brown turkey with onion, bell pepper, and garlic until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.

Transfer turkey mixture to crockpot.

Add beans, tomatoes, pumpkin purรฉe, broth, and all seasonings. Stir well.

Cook on low 6โ€“7 hours or high 3โ€“4 hours.

Adjust seasonings before serving (you can add hot sauce for extra kick).

Portion into containers. Top with Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, or avocado if you want extra protein/healthy fats.

Macros (per serving, approx, without sweet potato and toppings):

32โ€“36g protein

25โ€“28g carbs

6โ€“7g fat
