Our hearts are so full❤️
Inspired by our posts, the Perl family — Ron, Debbie, Paige, and cousin Hannah — chose to adopt East Side this year. They picked up gift tree tags and surprised us with an SUV packed with goodies for our residents.

Debbie at one time, wrote to one of our residents through our Pen Pal Program, and her return felt like a beautiful full-circle moment.

We are endlessly grateful for this family’s generosity and kindness.

Today, we were absolutely stunned by an act of pure generosity. After receiving the letter we sent, Vertical Cafe of Warsaw organized a full gift drive for our residents… and they showed up with ALL THIS LOOT!

Their kindness, their hearts, and the work they put into bringing this joy into our home left us speechless. Moments like this remind us what the holidays are truly about; community, compassion, and showing up for one another.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you, Vertical Café. You’ve made this season brighter for every single one of our residents. ❤️
