Greetings,
Karrah’s Leukemia has returned for the 4th time. Please consider supporting Karrah & Micah by donating financially and sharing this post on as many platforms and with as many people as possible. They have been married for 10 years, and for the past 6 years, they have been fighting against Leukemia for her existence.
We are their friends, family, prayer warriors, neighbors, and loving members of their supportive community.
Sometimes, life doesn’t make sense. And it seems EXTREMELY difficult and unfair. And it is ESPECIALLY in these times, we need to step in and love each other ABUNDANTLY, in whatever fashion, & however we feel called to do so.
It is easy to feel helpless. Sometimes, in times like this (myself included) we JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! We just want to help, make it a little easier, and love them through it in the biggest and littlest of ways. And I have seen SO MANY friends, family, community members, and strangers show up and do just that! I have seen people drop off meals, run errands so they have one less one to endure, drop off groceries, run 5ks & Marathons, start prayer groups, help with lawn work, puppy sit, clean & declutter, drive and provide company and support during Dr appts, play games & create laughter in a room, throw surprise birthday parties, deliver little gifts, send supportive texts & love letters, and so much more! But they need more help! Even in times when we don’t know what to do, or we feel helpless, we show up in love & support, and try with all of our might to pour more love in and around them. They are our best friends, our soul sister & brother, and they have been suffering through this for so long, and cancer has stolen many MANY things from the both of them, yet, they humbly never ask for anything. And somehow amongst all of the chaos that cancer had created, they always found ways to feed the heart & souls of the people around them! They have used their home as a gathering place to nurture relationships, shared their table to encourage open and amazing conversations, exchange beautiful life perspectives and guidance, provided a safe place to care for each other. With open hearts they provided the space, an open invite to come and be exactly as you are, and eat, laugh, and be. Even through the hardest times of their lives, their fight for existence has been honored by the way they have chosen to LIVE & CELEBRATE LIFE. They intentionally have created time for us to laugh and cry together. To do life together. With serving hearts, they humbly set an open and inviting table, FULL OF MORE THAN nutritious and delicious soulful food, but FULL OF LIFE! Even through their own suffering, they have created an atmosphere to come together and love and listen to the music of our lives. It has been 6 years, and the cancer is back for the 4th time and has metastasized to her brain. The Doctors believe she had a stroke that affected her left side & she has left sided weakness in her left hand. She had brain surgery to implant a device that would allow the chemo to access cross the blood brain barrier.
Micah is her husband, prayer warrior, best friend, protector, caregiver, and provider. Please consider donating financially and sharing their story, as your support will gift them with the comfort, freedom, focus, and authority over the time they have together through this difficult time.
Your prayers and loving support is greatly appreciated.
This Gofundme is written from Micah’s experience.
Thank you.
