There can be a lot of stigma and misunderstanding surrounding what hospice care is, so let’s find out the true meaning and purpose of our mission here at Cherish.

Hospice IS NOT only about death.

Hospice IS about living life to the fullest in the remaining time of your loved one’s life.

Hospice IS NOT giving up.

Hospice IS reaching out for help in a challenging time of life and receiving the care and comfort that patients and families deserve.

Hospice IS NOT the end.

Hospice IS the beginning of making new memories with your loved one in this phase of their life, and carrying on their legacy of love.

Grief is a challenging part of life that affects us all in different ways, but does not have to be dealt with alone.

When we experience loss, we can share our pain with others, and in turn, find comfort and healing together.

At Cherish, we have resources that can help in the bereavement process, including Grief Support Groups with our Social Worker, Angela Krumwied, and collaboration with our Bereavement Coordinator, Brian Birkey.

Everyone deserves to find hope after loss, and we can find it together.
