Life Care Center of Morgan County is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Wartburg, Tennessee.

Only an hour west of Knoxville in Wartburg, Tennessee, Life Care Center of Morgan County has proudly served our community since 1980. Focusing on inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation with 24-hour skilled nursing care, our team of in-house therapists and nurses provide individualized care for our patients and residents in a homelike atmosphere. Our nursing home is proud to feature a secured Alzheimer's and dementia unit. We also provide resort-like amenities so that the individuals in our care always feel right at home.

Congratulations to Virginia, who recently returned home to her sister after completing her rehabilitation with us! 🎉

Through physical, occupational, and speech therapies, Virginia greatly improved her strength and mobility. She enjoyed her stay, including the food and activities – especially bingo and coloring.

Earlier today, two of our residents and two staff members were traveling to medical appointments in our facility bus. As they drove along Highway 62, an oncoming vehicle veered into their lane and hit the bus head-on.

First responders arrived at the scene quickly, and we are appreciative of the professionalism and courage they showed as they evaluated and treated everyone involved.
We have notified the family members of the residents and staff members, as well as the appropriate state agencies.

No other details about the accident have been confirmed at this time, and due to HIPAA restrictions, we cannot share additional information about the residents.
At Life Care Center of Morgan County, residents are our No. 1 priority. Their safety and well-being are our paramount concerns, and we will continue to cooperate with the police department as they investigate the accident and its cause.
