Shoutout to our Mobile Wound Care RN who goes above and beyond to find her patients. April, and Westbay Case Manager Alex hit the streets of Rhode Island Monday-Thursday helping and treating wounds for patients experiencing homelessness. Shelters, encampments, islands, you name it they will travel. Addiction has taken a toll on individuals throughout the state, especially with Xylazine being mixed into the fentanyl supply (80% from recent tests), which causes extreme wounds starting at injection sites. Our team identifies and treats these patients in the field and then offers acute medical treatment at a Medical Respite (Hallworth House) where our own nursing team takes over care. Truly amazing ❤️

🚀 Exciting news! Starting April 1, we've launched a new door-to-door transportation service to fit the needs of veterans at the Providence VA. This service fills a crucial need for non-emergency transportation for Veterans who require added care and assistance, but don't quite need ambulance services. We're happy to be able to provide reliable transportation to our Veterans. Grateful for the partnership with Providence VA as we make a positive impact in our Veterans' lives. 🇺🇸
