Karen Capoverde, LICSW
I am a social worker with more than 20 years of clinical experience working with adults, couples, adolescents and elders. I also speak fluent Spanish. My own life experiences, training and passion for helping others help me to understand how our life experiences can cause us pain and confusion. Together we can work towards your healing and happiness.
Specializing In Trauma and Anxiety I can offer a safe, compassionate and supportive environment where healing can take place. I use a number of techniques to develop with you a personalized plan that’s tailored to your needs. We can also include holistic methods to augment your healing. LGBTQ friendly. Trauma can include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Depression.
Alternative and Holistic methods I am trained in guided meditation, mindfulness techniques, emotional freedom techniques (tapping), reiki, grounding techniques, gentle reprocessing. You can ask about other holistic healing methods and tools.
