This month, we brought together two special traditions: our September Birthday Bash and Oktoberfest! Residents toasted with fall-flavored beer and wine, snacked on warm pretzels, and shared birthday cake. To top it all off, Kalifornia Karl filled the room with music and smiles. A day full of joy, laughter, and community spirit. 💛🎶🎂🍻

Today is World Alzheimer's Day, which takes place every Sept. 21, a global effort to raise awareness and challenge the stigma around Alzheimer's disease.
Our residents in Reflections enjoyed a lovely afternoon with Crystal on the guitar playing our favorite sing-alongs accompanied by her grandchildren who wowed us with their musical talents and dance moves! Afterwards, we all enjoyed sundaes to which the kids stated, "we can't wait to come back!" And we can't wait either, we had so much fun together! 🍨💜

At Halcyon, every day brings a new reason to smile! This afternoon, our residents got creative with apple painting, showed off their style making handmade bracelets, and then enjoyed a relaxing wine and cheese tasting together. A perfect mix of art, friendship, and flavor! 🍎🎨🧀🍷

🎣🐟 A reel-y good time was had by all at Gorton’s Pond! Our residents spent the day fishing, birdwatching, and topping it off with a picnic lunch by the water. Fresh air, laughter, and a few good catches made for the perfect outing! 🌞🦆

Adventures in Culinary! Our residents in Reflections embarked on a culinary journey sampling sweet treats from around the world including crumpets with currant jam from England, chocolate croissants from France, butterball cookies and cannolis from Italy, baklava from Greece and cookies from Sweden and the Netherlands while listening to music from our favorite countries. What a sweet time we had! Bon appétit! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Ageless adventures in Reflections with a lively pirate treasure hunt! Following the clues and partnering with our friendly staff, we had a ton of fun and were rewarded with a bounty of treasures!
Bringing staff and elders together can provide endless opportunities for creating moments of joy and mutual engagement. Scavenger hunts provide fun and entertaining opportunities for residents and those who care for them to play together for a shared goal and even a prize! 👑🪙💎

What an incredible end to our Ageless Adventure week! 🌟 On Wednesday, we celebrated our roots by dressing in heritage attire and exploring the world through a fun scavenger hunt 🌍. Thursday brought comfort and laughter as we wore pajamas or mismatched clothes, played Wii games, and shared coffee and donuts ☕🍩. And on Friday, we wrapped it all up with a relaxed dress-down day, a cookout, Palagi’s ice cream truck 🍦, and the best part—pieing our managers in the face 🥧 to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association 💜. A week full of joy, laughter, and memories we’ll cherish!

Apple Orchard Adventure! Our residents in Reflections and Bridges had so much fun at Dame Farm & Orchard this morning. The fall weather was perfect as we enjoyed a tour of the farm through the forest, sunflower patch, corn stalks and apple orchard on a tractor drawn hayride. Afterwards we enjoyed fresh apple cider and cider donuts. We brought so many apples home that we will put to very good use! 🍏🍎

Assisted Living Week is off to an amazing start with our Ageless Adventures! 🥳 Day one kicked off with favorite sports team spirit and a fun tailgate party, and on day two we traveled back in time with decade-themed outfits, karaoke, and colorful tie-dye creations. What a fantastic way to celebrate together 💙
