Through the blizzard, we're grateful for our Kent Hospital teams staying on-site to help ensure patients continue to receive the care they need.

This morning, leadership shared breakfast as a small thank-you for their dedication. Please stay safe out there and take extra precautions while the storm continues.

For the third year in a row, Kent Hospital was filled with extra heart.

As part of Kent’s Spread the Love campaign, students from West Warwick Elementary Schools and Blackstone Valley Prep ES2 created handmade cards that were delivered to patients with their lunch trays. We’re so grateful to these young artists for helping us spread kindness.

Our team also spread kindness to one another by writing notes of appreciation for fellow co-workers on our Spread the Love board.

This month, Kent Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital are coming together for a special initiative centered on a simple but powerful goal: helping patients feel comforted, supported, and cared for when it matters most.

Our Wrapped in Love Donation Drive invites our community to donate essential and comfort items that will be shared with patients across both hospitals – from newborns in the NICU to individuals navigating oncology treatments.

Only new items can be accepted. To schedule a drop-off, contact:

Kent Hospital: Heather Ainslie
HAinslie@KentRI.org | Manager, Volunteer Services

Women & Infants Hospital: Gabby Bello
GaBello@CareNE.org | Assistant Director, Philanthropy

We are also looking for knitters and crocheters to make items for our patients. Contact KHVolunteers@CareNE.org to volunteer.

Thank you for helping us extend compassion beyond clinical care and for being part of what makes our hospitals such special places!
