In feeding therapy, comfort comes before bites! We cannot stress enough the importance of exploring food with our hands, eyes, and even our noses to help build trust and confidence for those with feeding aversions. When we started speech services at WITH Harland could only speak 8-10 words. Within a year he was talking in sentences and you could understand him! Piper struggled with pronunciation but now you can understand everything! Now they are both working on specific letters and it’s so cool to see them use the skills at home! Even correcting me when I don’t do it the right way! Haha -Mackenzie, Harland and Piper's Mom
