It's been brought to our attention that customers are getting calls from our phone number, 866-282-3501, with someone who is identifying themselves as a Chippewa Valley Bank employee and then asking to verify personal and banking information. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM THIS INFORMATION!
Chippewa Valley Bank will never call you and ask to verify your Social Security Number, Account Number, or other PII (Personally Identifiable Information) over the phone. (We will use PII to verify you when YOU call US, but not when we call you.)
We always want you to be diligent when giving out your personal information over the phone, but right now requires a little extra caution!
