Open Enrollment on the ACA’s Private Health Insurance Marketplace HealthCare.Gov is underway – this is the chance for people to buy or renew health insurance for the New Year.

The annual window to buy or switch plans opened Nov. 1, 2025, and runs until Jan. 15, 2026. But the first major deadline is approaching: Enroll by Dec. 15, 2025 for coverage that starts Jan. 1, 2026.
