Looking for a fun, engaging, and therapist-led camp for your child this summer? We’ve got you covered with three specialized camps designed to support early learning, motor skills, and school readiness! 🎉

🏕️ Our Summer Camp Lineup:
✏️ Bumblebee Boost Camp – A one-week camp for rising 1st graders to strengthen handwriting & phonological awareness with expert support! (SLP + OT-led)
🐝 Little Bee Camp: Kindergarten Edition – A two-week camp (July 21 - Aug 1, 9 AM-1 PM) for 4-6-year-olds to build motor, language, and social skills through structured play! (SLP, OT, PT-led)
🐝 Little Bee Camp: Preschool Edition – A two-week camp (Aug 5-15, 9 AM-12 PM) for 2-3-year-olds, focusing on early movement, communication, and play skills! (SLP, OT, PT-led)

October is and the perfect opportunity to welcome our newest team member!

Meet Dr Sara Beck! Sara will be joining us next month and we are SO excited!

Sara graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 2020 then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023.

She is originally from Daytona Beach, FL and moved to the DC area in 2023. Sara is passionate about helping children achieve their mobility goals. She is a certified DMI level A practitioner and excited to continue learning new treatment strategies to help her patients reach their potential!

In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

We had a blast supporting this weekend at their walk in DC!

Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak. Children with the diagnosis of apraxia of speech generally have a good understanding of language and know what they want to say. However, they have difficulty learning or carrying out the complex sequenced movements that are necessary for intelligible speech.

The Walk for Apraxia celebrates the lives and hard work of kids with Apraxia and raises money to bring families together.
