Others say, "It is forbidden to get sick!" How can we avoid disease? We can do this if we can strengthen our body's defenses. These are our white blood cells (white cells) that kill germs, bacteria, viruses, and cancer cells. There are two types of white blood cells: T cells (produced by the thymus gland) and B cells (produced by bone marrow).
How is the immune system measured? We can look at the amount of your White Blood Cells (WBC) in the blood. The normal quantity is 4 to 10.
Excess chin is less than 3. Here are ways to make our white blood cells strong and vibrant:
💪 Boost white blood cells by taking a multivitamin daily. We are often deficient in zinc, selenium, iron, vitamins B, C and D. If we are on a diet or are sick, make it a habit to take vitamins.
🥦 Eat greenish and reddish foods such as vegetables, carrots, squash and tomatoes.
🤸🏻♂️ Exercise but not too much. According to one study, fewer people get colds when they exercise regularly.
🧘🏻♀️ Relax and unwind. Learn different ways to relax. Yoga, massage, meditation and vacation are possible.
👭🏻 Have a friend or family member who will support you. That can do much to prevent illness.
😴 Sleep. When sick, the body needs rest. Deep sleep really strengthens our body. Here our body repairs damaged cells.
☀️ Don't spend too much time in the sun. A few days help in making Vitamin D in the body. But excessive sun exposure is detrimental to the immune system.
🥛 Drink 10 glasses of water. As long as you are sick, you need to drink plenty of water to get rid of toxins and heat (fever) in your body.
💊 Do not take antibiotics right away. Most colds and flu are caused by viruses. It cannot be cured by antibiotics that just kill the bacteria. Taking too much antibiotics can also be harmful because our body loses friendly bacteria. Ask the doctor first.
💉 Get vaccinated. Vaccines are important to protect our body. The vaccine trains the body's resistance to special germs. At ages 50 and older, pneumonia is needed
