Super Proud Moment 🎉
I Dr-Acia Williams am proud to say that I, too, am a product of the BBI & BCI programming. My journey began over 25 years ago, when I was raising two small children—with a third joining our family later—uncertain of the direction my life would take.
Through dedication and perseverance, I have achieved so much in the wonderful field of the Art and Science of Hair, Skin, and Nails.
Today, I am the CEO and owner of three businesses in Washington, DC: A New Image by Acia & Hair Loss Rejuvenation Clinic and The Image & Grooming Professionals Institute. I earned all of my college credits in The Professional Arts and Science of Cosmetology from the National Institute of Cosmetology under NBCL (DC Chapter) BA-MA-Doc-Post Doc, which continued help lay an even stronger foundation for my career.
My passion for helping others led me to specialize in hair loss restoration, and I am a leading hair loss Non-Surgical Alopecia Specialist for over 15 years. The path has not always been easy, but I am grateful for every step that brought me to where I am today.
As the Lead Instructor of the BCI@DOC Apprenticeship Program for Cosmetologists and Barbers at the Facility since June 2024, I, Dr. Acia Williams, consider it a profound privilege to guide and support my students on their journey.
Each day brings new excitement as I witness the remarkable progress and dedication of my coed students. It is truly inspiring to see them develop not only technical skills, but also confidence and a sense of purpose. Being part of their transformation and growth is both humbling and rewarding.
This opportunity as well as the many others awarded to me by (BCI) & my lifetime mentor that allows me to help them prepare for a brighter future in the beauty industry fills me with immense pride. I am grateful to contribute to a program that empowers individuals and opens doors to new possibilities. Watching my students overcome challenges and achieve their goals reaffirms my passion for education and mentorship.
