I was lucky enough to attend Pride Reveal 2024 at last night as a volunteer. It was truly an amazing experience. I was able to meet a lot of wonderful members of the community. Everyone was dressed to the Nines and looking stunning and handsome. I’m glad I was able to see it firsthand. Thanks to all the organizers, board members, volunteers, and the community for stepping out for a great cause near to my heart. I’m a cosplayer and founder of my cosplay charity group to help people in need, promote body positivity, inclusivity, anti-bullying, mental health awareness, su***de prevention, disability and autism advocacy, and protection of the LGBTQ+ community from discrimination, harassment, and violence. Pride is not just a one day or one month thing, it’s 24/7 365 days a year. We must come together and celebrate our differences and diversity. It’s why I named my cosplay group Cosplayers 4 Change because I want to make positive changes in the world to better it for future generations so they have a safe space to flourish and thrive. I’m so excited to be involved in this community. It’s been life altering to finally have a place to be accepted as who I am and not what I look like. If you ever need support, I got your back. We are stronger together and have to fight for our lives and rights to exist as we see fit. No one can tell you who you are, you decide your destiny. See you at DC Pride 2024! Chronic illness reality & honesty

So I know this is last minute. But my daughter is not feeling up to going tomorrow to the Video Games Symphony concert in Baltimore. So if anyone would like to go with me, let me know. I won 2 tickets through Awesome Con so I don’t want to waste them. I’ll be coming in early beforehand so if you want to meet up early, I can. It was last minute so didn’t have time to throw together a whole new cosplay but going to do a casual Rinoa party dress from Final Fantasy VIII. I used to watch the music video for “Eyes on Me” by Faye Wong on repeat when it came out.

Philly Area Friends: I will be visiting Philly, more than likely next weekend since I have the fair and carnival performance this weekend. But hoping to schedule an appointment with Septa because it’s impossible to get a disabled ID every time I go. I will let you know for sure once everything is booked. We’ll be doing some bathing suit cosplay for Draculaura since the Marquis doesn’t have a pool and maybe finish up some other cosplays since I wasn’t able to. Do some cosplay karaoke videos etc. I was supposed to at the con but most of everything fell apart. I’m so upset because I didn’t realize there was an AmaLee panel even though I looked at guidebook. I’m doing my normal Chinatown regular shopping for cosplay supplies and food if anyone wants to join.
