Have you ever felt a tingling sensation in your feet that just won’t go away? Or maybe a burning pain in your hands that makes simple tasks uncomfortable? These could be signs of neuropathy—a condition that affects millions of people but often goes undiagnosed.
What is Neuropathy?
Neuropathy, or peripheral neuropathy, happens when your nerves are damaged or not working properly. Your nerves act as messengers between your brain and body, and when they’re affected, you might experience:
✅ Tingling or numbness in your hands or feet
✅ Sharp, burning, or shooting pain
✅ Muscle weakness or difficulty moving
✅ Sensitivity to touch or temperature
✅ Balance problems or frequent falls
Why Does It Matter?
Ignoring the symptoms of neuropathy can lead to bigger problems, like infections, loss of mobility, and even permanent nerve damage. The earlier you recognize the signs, the better your chances of managing or even preventing it from worsening.
