New Substack Post 🕊️
“The Space Between Versions of Me”

Lately I’ve been moving through a soft, quiet transition — the kind that doesn’t make an announcement but still changes you.

Today I wrote about that in-between space… the shedding, the remembering, and the surprising shift that met me when I finally stopped rushing myself.

If you’re in a season where you feel like you’re becoming someone new (or returning to someone old), this one might speak to you.

This week’s devotion is for the version of us who did the root work in silence.
Who prayed when no one knew.
Who healed without an audience.
Who sowed seeds of self-worth long before we believed we were worthy of what was coming.

This is your reminder:
🌿 The root work is the real work.
🌕 Self-worship is choosing to see yourself even when no one else can.

May you honor your process.
May you trust your soil.
May you speak life over what’s still growing

Sometimes all you need is a few minutes to come back to yourself.

This short 7-minute flow is for the days when your body feels tight, your mind feels full, and your nervous system is asking for something gentle.

We’ll move through the hips and hamstrings, with presence over pressure.

✨ This is your mini preview of this week’s full-length class inside The Space to Be — my digital sanctuary for yoga, healing, and self-connection.

💭 Transparency Tuesday | June 4

I wrote this in 2017 — during a season when I was starting to reconnect with myself… without the mask.

At the time, I thought being unbothered meant I was strong.
That holding everything in made me powerful.
But the truth is — I was just hiding. Hardened.
Disconnected from the parts of me that needed the most care.

This post isn’t polished.
It’s honest.
It’s what I told myself when I couldn’t tell anyone else.
Reading it now reminds me how far I’ve come… and how much of her I still carry.

🪞 Excerpt from my Notes app:
“It’s okay to be sensitive.
No one can read your mind — speak up.
It’s okay to own your feelings, no matter how you feel.”

The full, unedited post is up on Substack now.
Your truth doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

Softness isn’t weakness — it’s a return to truth. 🤍

This week inside The Space to Be, we’re reflecting on the quiet strength it takes to lay the armor down.
To let our bodies exhale. To feel what we’ve been protecting ourselves from.

To trust softness again.

You don’t have to stay hardened to be whole.
Let this be your reminder: it’s safe to feel. It’s safe to soften.

🪞 Affirmation for the week:
“It’s safe to feel. It’s strong to soften. My heart is allowed to be tender and true.”

I wrote this in 2019.
I was drowning in silence.
Not suicidal—but detached. Disconnected.
Functioning, but not living.
And no one would’ve known.

This was the beginning of my healing—not because things got easier,
but because I finally stopped pretending I didn’t feel it.

This is what inspired me to create The Space to Be.
Not just yoga.
Not just reflection.
But a sanctuary for soft returns.

🕊️ If this speaks to you, you’re not alone.
The Sanctuary opens next week.

This was supposed to be Monday’s post.
But life happened.

And instead of shaming myself for being “late,” I chose to return—with softness.

🧘🏽‍♀️This 20-minute gentle yoga flow is for the version of you that’s tired of holding it all together.
🧘🏽‍♀️For the version of you who wants to soften, but doesn’t know how.
🧘🏽‍♀️For the you that’s healing in real time, not on schedule.

No pressure. No expectations. Just breath and space.

If you need a reset—physically, emotionally, energetically—this is for you.💛

Self-Worship Sunday: The Strength to Be Soft
Today, we make room for the version of you that’s been holding it all in.
The version who’s tired of surviving, but afraid to stop.
The one who whispers: “I don’t even need easy. Just better.”

This reflection came from a journal entry I wrote back in 2019—a time when I didn’t know what healing looked like, but I knew I wanted something different.

This is your invitation to soften.
To rest.
To remember that strength isn’t pushing through—it’s being honest when you’re breaking open.

Take a deep breath.
Place your hand over your heart.
Ask yourself:
✨ What part of me is still waiting to be held?
✨ What would “better” look like—if I chose softness today?

Want to go deeper with me this week?
Inside The Space to Be Sanctuary, we’re moving through yoga + breathwork practices to help you embody the softness you deserve.

As a full-time working mom with a 2-hour commute, I know how easy it is to get disconnected from yourself.

That’s why I created The Space to Be — a place where we can breathe, reflect, and return to the rest our bodies crave 💌🌿

My first letter is live on Substack — it’s raw, real, and a gentle welcome to this journey we’re taking together.
