Get excited about your first acupuncture treatment!!! Oh krrrr

This is a health experience to meet the medical needs of chronic and acute symptoms, pain, infertility and illness. These methods lengthen life, prolong organ, musculoskeletal health and draw from deeper wellsprings of the bodyโ€™s energy and not just a pill or surgery.

Also did I mention it enhances all aspects of mood and well being for a fully hormonal (and spiritual?) inner reboot? One you donโ€™t need to work for to achieve- it is given.

In treatments, I can explain my strategies and why Iโ€™m doing things in a helpful and reassuring way. We stick to the main objectives and no procedure or poke is without your OK.

I love receiving testimonials like this - will not be the first nor the last like this very thing for folks.

Often my practice comprises two to three specialties for people. One session of acupuncture does double what it costs in time and energy visiting other specialists for the same chronic problem or issue. This is a health and wellness hack you can find at this practice.

Turns out there is an easier way. Less is more. Which means more time saved for the patient, exponential results, and faster recovery- and the best part is itโ€™s completely natural.

Only drinking plain water is NOT the best way to hydrate.

Our body needs electrolytes to hydrate appropriately so that fluid stays in the body and isnโ€™t just peed out in the urine.

Stress! It affects our blood sugar metabolism, and with a dropping blood sugar is a dropping mood.

Emotionally becoming dynamic & resilient with our goals is something we can control!

Tips:

1. Have a hearty savory breakfast on packed or stressful days. If savory is too much to stomach, some vegetable-heavy smoothies for lots of fiber with a serving of Shaklee protein powder for blood sugar balance. Dry, warm grains with berries/fruit as a base to fuel the brain. (The brain needs grains!)
2. Plan to have a mid-morning and/or mid-afternoon snack
3. Notice how caffeine affects our mood, blood sugar and/or how much sleep we have had before we judge ourselves around stress.

I love Glucose Goddessโ€™ work with her blood sugar meter because it so clearly delineates how much stress can burn up our capacities to regulate and perform.

Itโ€™s important to take stock of how we feel!

As women we can take it on as our problem when really itโ€™s a reaction from our wonderfully complex, supportive and life-giving hormonal body. We are blood-bound and need more calories especially around our cycle. Cortisol levels shift depending where we are on our cycle as well, and is super important to track in perimenopause and menopause.

Happy New Year of the Dragon!!! ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰

Clutter clearing was actually the first sign to me that I was healing long standing things โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน. At the time I had terrible migraines, multiple in a week. It was destroying my productivity and frustrating my will. Since my first treatment 14 years ago (which was the treatment I decided I would become an acupuncturist actually!), I have learned that deep cleaning, tidying, and clutter clearing as a ritual, is a way to alchemically bring more prosperity.

As I have practiced this, I realize now that prosperity is something felt in all directions of life, not just through the symbol/number of ๐Ÿ’ฒ ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ถ๐Ÿ’ท๐Ÿ’ด๐Ÿ’ณ. It is a mindset and a lifestyle made up of mostly this kind of thing here โ˜๏ธ moving chi and releasing things. After all, Liver plays a large part in our ability to take a real good poop.๐Ÿ’ฉ

What is, Earth/soil/dust/skin, earth as substance, Heart โค๏ธ Blood ๐Ÿฉธ Small Intestine substance as we sort and decide (Gall Bladder). Is the โ€˜is-nessโ€™ (business?) life becoming One with the actual 24/7 alchemistry of the One life we already have? The โ€œIs this my lifeโ€-ness of my life?

Is everything we have everything we need? Can we transform ourselves to grow and create prosperity? My answer is yes.

This gave me some peace reading it with all of the world events recently.

Many women in my practice have expressed feeling extra stressed with the worldโ€™s events like they are waiting for the other shoe to drop. It can feel helpless and scary, a harbinger of more bad to come.

This is when we use our inner boy to move our desires to not feel so hopeless into action mode in our own little corners of the world.

Helping a coworker or a friend, going the extra mile for a client, giving parents and loved ones extra hugs and kisses, and using what fear is there to mobilize love and create positive domino effects with all living things.

Volunteering at an animal shelter, helping a blind woman go shopping, planting trees or helping a neighbor with their garden, paying for someone behind you in lineโ€ฆ what positive things can you do today to feel more of that positive energy spreading throughout the world?

Itโ€™s the butterfly effect which does ripple throughout all beings and living things.

We are changing the world by breathing here with our beating hearts. Just imagine what we can do with a little love, a heartfelt intention, and that mere impact on our communities.

1. Learn to always trust your instincts
2. Never speak badly about yourself
3. Donโ€™t be afraid to say โ€˜noโ€™- healthy boundaries make mind gymnastics easier!
4. Move the body regularly- take breaks like getting fresh air, a walk, stretch, lift - matter over mind!
5. Get plenty of rest & meditate in the AM - ground yourself
6. Eat a hearty breakfast with carbs (cooked grains, hot porridge, cooked squashes) for glucose, the brainโ€™s food. And eat regularly!

Hot tip: get acupuncture. Acupuncture helps reduce pain, increases sensory awareness, and calms the mind, bringing blood flow away from the brain stem and amygdala to the pre-frontal cortex. Find peace and calm in our sessions to grow confidence, ease, and bodily integration with the mind.

If you have trouble slowing the thoughts and the mind, acupuncture is the best thing!
