August is National Immunization Awareness Month!
This is a great time to highlight the importance of vaccines in protecting you and your loved ones at every stage of life.
Trusted medical organizations like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) all recommend vaccines during pregnancy to help protect both parent and baby.

Also, if you or your adolescent children haven’t received the HPV vaccine, it’s not too late. The vaccine can help prevent several types of cancer later in life.
