5 steps to help immediately raise blood pressure:
1. Lay or sit down, no matter where you are. When lying down, it is advised to raise the legs by placing them on a rolled towel or another object.
2. Drink at least 300ml of water with small sips. Water makes the blood thinner and increases its volume, allowing for easier flow through the blood vessels.
3. Get some fresh air, breathe slowly and deeply. This can help to stabilize the heartbeat and calm your emotional state.
4. Drink black tea or coffee. But note: coffee can increase the heartbeat. It is best to drink a cup of strong tea, as it also has a lot of caffeine.
5. Eat something salty, but only if you have drunk some water. Salt induces water retention, reducing the risk of decreased blood pressure from dehydration.
