Having a healthy skin is very important in our daily lives. A healthy skin can improve the way people see you( you are more respected), it can also build your self-confidence. The list goes on and on but I’ll just get straight into my list of 5 tips for a healthy skin. It’s quite a long one but I promise it’ll be worth your while.
1.Eat a healthy diet: your diet has effects in every aspect of your life including your skin health too! Some researchers have linked the root of some acne cases to the patients' diet. Always take a lot of fruits and vegetables. Fats and oils are also important for a glowing skin. However, try to avoid unhealthy fats like most animal fats.
2.Be gentle with your skin.
You need to stop treating your skin like a dirty towel that needs to be scrubbed like crazy to get it clean. Stop! Our skins are very fragile and show be treated with care. Habits like exposing the skin to the intense sun for a long period, taking hot baths for a long period, using bleaching creams and strong soaps and excessive scrubbing, can all be dangerous to the skin.
3. Avoid stress; stress can affect your outlook over time. Stress has been linked to skin problems like acne, skin breakout, wrinkles, and many others.
4. Always keep your skin moisturized: your skin moisturizer is your skin’s best friend. If you don’t have any you should get one today! Skin moisturizers protect the skin. They allow your skin products to go deeper into the skin when applied.
5. Always get enough sleep: during sleep, the body is at rest, and collagen is produced during this time. Collagen helps to keep off skin wrinkles and lets you have healthier glowing skin.
