I’m looking for 5 people who have a scar they don’t love.
Ideally, this scar runs horizontal across the torso somewhere (think c-section, abdominal surgery, back surgery, etc.) - but not limited to!
This could be from surgery or injury.
Maybe you don’t like how it looks.
Maybe you still have tightness or tingling around the site.
Maybe you’re not loving how this scar causes tension and restricts your movement.
Maybe you’ve had pain somewhere ever since you got it.
Come try a 3 session series to release your scar for just $99.

Sessions are about 25 minutes.

Auricular Therapy 👂🏼 & New Years 🎉
If you know me at all,
You know I’m not a New Years Resolution person.
I think waiting until the New Year is a cop out,
Because we are capable of choosing differently at any moment in our day
Not just on Jan 1,
Or on a Monday,
Or our birthday.
We get to decide to take the leap now.
And maybe we start over every month.
Or every week.
Or every day.
Heck every hour.
Because each is an opportunity for us,
We just have to take it.
So while I don’t buy into the notion of waiting until January to pursue something meaningful to you,
You will have to wait for January for this one because I’ll be across the country visiting family.
And come January,
You’ll have access to supportive modalities to help you on your health journey.
Specifically,
Auricular therapy.
Auricular Therapy (or auriculotherapy) is a non-invasive, needle-free version of ear acupuncture.
Again, emphasis on no needles.
I am not an acupuncturist.
And above are the top 9-ish protocols in relation to much of society’s health goals!
If yours isn’t listed, send me a message and we’ll see if there’s a protocol for you.
So if you’ve been trying to quit smoking, or to sleep better, or are tired of being in pain - or whatever! Give auricular therapy a try.
Sessions are about 25 minutes.
You’ll experience microcurrent stimulation.
If you are pregnant, have a history of seizures or have implanted electrical devices, we can look at acupressure or seeds.

A bit more info to see what The Wellness Initiative is all about and what we offer 🤩

Hey y’all! My name is Aubrey, I’m a board certified Doctor of Natural Medicine, just beginning my practice here in Flagstaff.
At this time, I am looking to support anyone who is interested in improving their physical, mental and emotional health using natural, holistic and alternative modalities. Some of my favorite modalities are auricular therapy (needle-free, electrostimulation reflexology/acupressure of the ear), emotional release work, nutritional scans and full-body scans.
I will be accepting new clients, virtual and in-person (within Birch District Wellness collective) at a discounted rate for the remainder of 2024.
For clarity, a Doctor of Natural Medicine is not a Naturopath or a Doctor of Naturopathy, and we are not Medical Doctors; we do not diagnose or treat and we do not prescribe. We prefer lifestyle adjustments to address imbalances within the energy systems of the body, and sometimes recommend supportive natural supplements, homeopathic remedies, energetic rebalancing, adjustments to nutrition, movement and sleep, to name a few.
If you’re interested in seeing if we would be a good fit, or just want to learn more, please feel free to send me a message here, at info@aubreybabcock.com or call or text at 202-599-3468. I look forward to connecting with you 😊

Tomorrow is the big day!
Well, the official day (move-in day)
Tomorrow I join Birch District Wellness and give The Wellness Initiative a home 🏠
How often have you sighed, rolled your eyes, felt a pit grow in your stomach or just plain dreaded the planning process, let alone the act of seeing family?
Anticipation.
Planning.
Anxiety.
Anger.
Triggers.
Get togethers.
Food.
Alcohol.
The list goes on.
We can’t change how people think or act.
But we can change ourselves.
We can learn to identify the internal state we are in.
We can learn how to move ourselves in and out of these states.
And eventually, we can learn to set boundaries.
And identify and process our triggers.
But the first step is getting ourselves centered,
Into a state of regulation, or balance.
Join me for this Neurological Fitness workshop to learn the different states of the nervous system and how to move between them.

📣update alert 📣

Hello friends & followers.
It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it.
This year…
Oof, it has been quite the year.
I haven’t been active here because for many months…
I didn’t possess the capacity for much more than surviving for a while there.
You see, back in March my healthy, active, 73 year old dad had a heart attack.
He crashed once in the ER and once again mid-flight to CT’s best cardiac hospital.
I was grateful my mom was able to get me on FaceTime with him between these incidents.
For many weeks between March & May I was in Connecticut, sitting with my family in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit from 10am-8pm, waiting to hear what the doctor’s had to say.
At first it wasn’t great.
Your dad is in advanced heart failure (mind fricken boggling).
Your dad needs a heart transplant.
Your dad is too old for a heart transplant.
Your dad will go home on hospice with maybe two weeks to live if he leaves without advanced interventional therapies.
After three weeks of that, his body was well enough to undergo a major open heart surgery.
His heart is now powered by a battery pack (I call his jetpack), that he wears on his person 24/7.
Recovery was tougher on him than the three weeks waiting to find out if essentially he would live or die.
But then he came home, got cleared to drive, cleared to play golf, and most recently cleared to take an actual shower again!
So during that time, staying active in this community was not a priority.
My family was.
My potentially limited time with my loved ones was the only thing I could think about.
Then, when he was doing well enough, I came back to my life in Arizona.
I finished up school.
The last year of my doctoral program…
That meant a dissertation and finishing up my practicum hours all with about 4 weeks to get it done.
I did it, because I always do.
So, great news, I graduated!
My parents flew out to Colorado to watch me get hooded and say my oath.
And then it was time to study for my board certification.
I had 4 weeks to (what felt like) re-learn everything I learned in the previous 36 months, and actually commit it to memory.
And I did.
I crushed it actually. All of my classmates did.
6:30am study groups. Hundreds of vocabulary words. Hundreds of multiple choice questions to learn.
We. Did. It. And we did it well.
Just two weeks ago I sat for my board exam amongst my classmates and now colleagues, and we freaking crushed it.
So that’s where I’ve been since my request for dissertation volunteers.
And now that I’m out of survival mode, for the most part…
I’m ready to reconnect!
And I was hoping to start with a book club.
And then in the mostly near future, add on maybe some lives or short videos talking about some of the cool stuff I’ve learned over the last few years, because I’m eager to share.
But I need your help.
Are you interested in a book club?
One that maybe meets for 30 minutes a week, and does maybe one chapter a week - because it’s hard to carve out time for miscellaneous things, right?!
What book have you been wanting to read, but just can’t find the time for?
I’ll tell you, since graduating, I’ve ordered 16 more to add to the literal dozens waiting for me.
They’re informative books, not novels.
One day I will make time for novels.
For now, my curiosity for things that teach me about myself and others is where I am.
So tell me, what topics are you into?
What curiosities do you have?
And best yet, are you ready for a like-minded community?
Because if these past months have taught me anything - it’s that I value connection.
And I am so ready to re-connect.

Hi all!
My name is Aubrey, a soon to be doctor of Bioenergetic Medicine.
I’m seeking curious participants interested in experiencing the effectiveness of energy medicine.
I’d like to run some additional case studies on the following groups:
The study will be short term, 4 sessions per person, approximately once a week. Sessions will be hosted virtually and will run approximately 35 minutes long. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or guardian’s signature in order to participate; everyone will be required to sign an informed consent waiver. Everyone will be required to fill out an initial intake and post session questionnaires.
For this study, a $45 participation fee will be collected.
I’m looking for 10 or more individuals for each category; my hope is to collect enough data to then apply for future grants.
If you’re interested, respond to this post and/or message me with your email address.
If someone you know may benefit from this, please feel free to share or tag them. If you happen to know of or work with an organization that assists with any of these challenges, and is open to a non-allopathic, drug free therapeutic modality, please reach out!
Once I have your email, I’ll send you a ‘what to expect,’ including a calendar link, waiver and symptom inventory paperwork.
𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳𝘀:
In a healthily regulated nervous system, our bodies experience and process negative emotions, therefore allowing their energetic imprint to move through the body. However, there are times when the energy of emotions and beliefs becomes trapped in our body. Once trapped, this energy can begin to disrupt the normal function of organs and tissues, as well as our quality of life. It can get trapped anywhere in the body, and often in weakened areas of the body.
Trapped emotional energy can impact your life in lots of ways, here’s a few:
- Keep you stuck in an area of your life.
- Contribute to health issues of all types and severities.
- Lead to procrastination and lack of motivation.
- Promote chronic anxiety and anger issues.
- Contribute to difficulty making decisions.
- Cause low energy.
- Block you from making more money.
- Affect your relationships.
- Sabotage you from achieving your goals.
- Increase cravings and addictions and decrease the ability to change an addictive behavior.
- Prevent you from letting go of the emotional attachment to past troublesome events.
- Cause a Heart Wall: an energetic wall to protect it (not just romantically)
This version of my Suppressed Emotion Detox is a quick process of identifying and releasing old trapped energy currently impacting your life. It removes the emotional attachments and charges interfering with the normal function of your mind & body and helps eliminate the barriers to achieving your goals and living a fulfilling life.

As I work on my dissertation, I’d like to collect some more case studies regarding the effectiveness of energy medicine. So, I am looking for volunteers willing to participate in two free 30-45 minute sessions on Zoom. If you’re interested, respond “yes” to this post and message me with your email address. I’ll reach out to you to set up the sessions. *This is not for current clients*
A little about the energetics of emotions & beliefs:

Hey there 👋🏼
I’m Aubrey.
Been a hot minute since I’ve been active on social media.
And, it’s probably going to be a little while until I return.
You see, it’s winter.
Despite being a winter baby,
Winter is my least favorite time.
Probably because I have the belief that I’m supposed to remain productive, and go-go-go,
When all I really want to do is wear my snuggy,
Cuddle my dog,
And stay inside.
This year, I’m honoring that a little more.
I’m going inwards because I don’t have the energy to be outwards.
That means not being in communication as regularly with people I love. I STILL LOVE YOU AND THINK ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME. I just have less capacity.
That means I don’t have the inspiration to post on socials multiple days a week.
That means trying to stick to the foundational things despite not wanting to really do much of anything.
And it also means tons of reflection (for me). And let me just say - that has been a big, weird, interesting experience these last few months.
I’m just not quite ready to be ‘spring and summer aubrey’ because I’m processing - A LOT.
But I’m still here for you.
And I’ll be returning soon 💛
In the meantime - catch me during my limited in-person things - Kingman the second Wednesday or Thursday of the month and Flagstaff the first and third Wednesday of the month.
Also shout out to .and.rush for this bomb necklace 😍

Since 2012, I have started (and continued) to take steps towards doing things that are fulfilling and truly align with what I believe in. That initially looked like quitting a 9-5 desk job in downtown Washington, D.C. to take a chance on personal training. I was only 6 months into this new field, but had the opportunity to work for Equinox, and even though I was terrified I wasn’t qualified enough to be there, I joined the Equinox fam. There I learned an incredible amount of things, met amazing people, and had the opportunity to work with some extremely intelligent and talented (physically and intellectually) individuals. I worked my way up the ranks to Tier 3+, put in long hours, became an instructor who facilitated the in-house education, and ranked in the top 100 (and 50) trainers in the company for three years. During those years I earned more certifications - Precision Nutrition, Pre/Post Natal Exercise, Kettlebells 1&2, Functional Movement Systems, and Trigger Point Therapy and spent countless hours learning from my coworkers and managers.
But I was finding it wasn’t enough. In early 2016 I was accepted into an Eating Psychology certificate program through the Institute for the Psychology of Eating - and I was hooked. This new source of information about the mind-body connection and how food and eating was so much more than just numbers and macros really caught my attention. I also had been living with (and undiagnosed) binge eating disorder for probably over a decade, and really struggled with emotional eating and my relationship to food in general. As I became more aware of so many other parts of me, my relationship to food began to change (for the better) and I craved more information about how to heal myself.
About a quarter through that program, I experienced a break up that sort of lead to a revelation. Not only did I have a dysfunctional relationship with food, but also to people. I was codependent. And not only in romantic partners, but with friends as well. As I was beginning to understand this, I had taken up yoga - as a coping mechanism to keep me from being swallowed by the ache in my heart - put in place by my own expectations. My teachers just thought I was a very dedicated student, but really, yoga was my lifeline.
A few months into my yoga practice, I attended a retreat for 20-somethings at Kripalu, run by Coby Kozlowski. Changed. My. Life. (I would recommend attending if you ever have the chance, and if you can’t make it in person - she released a book on Jan 7, 2020 that the program was based on. This book is NOT just for 20 somethings, it’s for every single person out there.) I left the retreat with a better idea of what I wanted in my life. Boundaries - to start. And, an adventure. I wanted to truly discover who I was aside from my profession and current identity. I researched and planned, and decided I was going to take a yoga teacher training in India, beginning Jan 2, 2017. At the end of December, I left my job at Equinox, spent the holidays with my family and set off across the world on a solo 7 month trip.
The trip provided me with exactly what I needed. It also got me interested in learning more about yoga psychology, so I enrolled in an advanced teacher training. When I got back to the states, I fought the urge to go back to the lifestyle I had left, and worked on my own schedule. Then I took advantage of an amazing opportunity as a founding employee to open a new athletic and wellness facility. And then, my life took me to rural Northwestern Arizona. I knew that my experience in this significantly smaller city would be what I would make of it - so I approached things differently than I historically might have. I began learning about energy healing, and having experienced significant results from it - had the courage to start this business! But I wasn’t done learning. I enrolled in a year-long certificate program to become a mind-body therapy practitioner.
So that’s where I am now. Forever a student. But taking bits and pieces from everything I have learned along the way to help other people discover the life they have always wanted; to guide individuals towards the path that truly honors who they want to be.
