Last Friday the had its World Down Syndrome Day dance party celebration. Dancing + all my favorite people = BEST DAY EVER 💙💛. Being a therapist means I get to be a part of so many different families. One of my favorite highlights of the night was seeing all my OG parents cerca 2008-2016. They welcomed me, allowed me to practice my fairly new oral motor craft on their children and they grew with me. They will always hold a very special place in my heart. 💙💛

Today really isn’t that different from any other day for those of us surrounded by the love of a person with Down syndrome. The benefits are endless. 💙💛 The community is beyond supportive, and the children are full of charm, personality and potential. Today and always we shout their worth, and celebrate with love.
