We are a pediatric occupational therapy private practice that specializes in working with children, ages 2-8 and their families in the DC metropolitan area. We offer highly individualized services during the school year and as well as a summer camp program. Children and their families participate in a variety of services that are uniquely crafted for their personal needs after a comprehensive evaluation process. Services are provided by our trained and certified occupational therapists. At Leaps and Bounds, we believe that:

● All children can learn and develop
● Individualized supports help children reach their full potential
● Play-based and child-directed sessions are best
● Activities at the “just right challenge” level for each child are best
● Children motivate each other

Hey OT's!

Leaps and Bounds is hiring an OT for our full-day therapeutic summer camp (6/25-8/3). Duties include leading a group of 8-10 children (pre-K-3rd grade) in pre-planned daily activities (circle time, arts and crafts, tactile play, sports, bike riding) and documenting skills in different areas (fine motor, gross motor, social, self-help). Campers include children with sensory processing challenges, high functioning autism, ADHD, self-regulation and social skill delays. Pediatric and sensory integration experience preferred. We are seeking volunteers for our Summer Camp! Our 6-week sensorimotor camp from June 26- August 4 is quickly approaching.
