Global warming is a real thing. Your opinion on it is irrelevant. It’s like having an opinion about the sun or the weather. What you “think” about it is irrelevant. It’s happening NOW.
Stop saying “climate change”. It’s not the “climate” that has caused the worst wildfires ever seen in nation after nation this very year, 2021.
There’s no “debate”. We are destroying our planet and life as we know it is heading towards extinction.
We are at a turning point. The status quo can not be maintained.
Not only have we destroyed the ozone layer beyond repair, but we continue to r**e, pillage and destroy the natural world for profit.

A few words about our accounting firm.
Gary Iskowitz is an amazing individual. He has been a “taxpayer advocate” who will intervene on the behalf of taxpayers with the IRS free of charge for many years. ❤️
He has been extraordinarily helpful, kind, and compassionate to both my ex-wife Suzanne Dudley Schon (no longer associated with the Foundation) and myself, The Rev. Dr. Kevin Dean Schon, since making his acquaintance in 2002.
When I began the Foundation, it was with a $1M gift out of my own pocket after an extraordinary windfall of $40M , the result of a friendship between myself and (now) venture capitalist Robert Wrubel.
I met Rob when I was a fairly new voiceover actor in Los Angeles. He was a freshly-minted MBA from Harvard, living in Pasadena with his wife Nicole, an architect by education, also an accomplished pianist, and their very young son, eho was exactly the same age as ours.
I’ll never forget the night they came to dinner at our place in Burbank for the first time.
Our delightful and brilliant and barely 2- year old son, Connor Dean (isn’t everyone’s son delightful and brilliant? Daughters too, of course, but our precious Hunter Christina had yet to make her appearance in our little saga) had an epiphany of sorts, having realized for the FIRST time… that there was an ACTUAL full harvest moon in the sky.
No longer just something you said “goodnight” to as you nestled warm under the covers while your Dad read you the “bunny book”. 🙃
His little brain simply and quite loudly exploded with enlightenment.
I’ve experienced similar sensations on my way to total consciousness.

He was very agitated, almost frantic. Did I not realize what was happening?

Of course the adults couldn’t keep it togethereven though we tried not to burst into howls of delighted laughter. But poor Connor could NOT be pacified.

There’s a full moon coming tomorrow, I believe. It is 10:27 Pacific Time in Palm Sorings, CA as I write this.

The Stand, Stephen King
Uh oh. Quoting the estimable Mr. King’s most terrifying and lengthy (about 1300 unabridged pages) novel about a virus released from a secret government biological weapons facility that mutates as it spreads and ends up killing 99.4% of the Earths human population was not something I had intended to do.
Despite the fact that Covid-19’s release from the Wuhan Biological Weapons Research Laboratory was deliberate (In Kings novel, the release is an accident) The Stand contains some unsettling parallels to the present pandemic.
Mr. King himself tried to assert that there were no parallels between his novel of the Apocalypse and the Covid-19 pandemic. But I think he doth protest too much.
It looks as if God is a fan.
And is following Mr. King’s playbook.
I wonder who The Dark Man will turn out to be. Or Mother Abigail Fremantle, the 106 year-old daughter of freed slaves who sits in her rocking chair on her front porch in Hemingford Home, Nebraska, waiting for her people to arrive.
The people who have dreamed of her.
People who survive the “superflu” or “Captain Trips” as it’s called by King, experience vivid dreams of either her or… The Datk Man. Randall Flagg. The Walkiing Dude. The Hardcase.

The few survivors of the Apocalypse, which turned out to be a plague, nothing else required, must chose to go to either Mother Abigail in Nebraska, or head West to Las Vegas and Flagg.
Mother Abigail decides that God wants her to lead her flock to Boulder, CO and so she does.
They attempt to recreate a sense of stability by recreating representative government with the usual disastrous results for a King novel. Nothing is what it appears to be. Traitors and spies are everywhere.
Flagg has established a brutal, fascist dictatorship in Las Vegas and is crucifying his detractors on the highways leading into town.
