Chilling. More patients whose lives were ruined by an incorrect diagnosis need to come forward. Maybe this will get the attention of health care providers. Often, threat of a medical malpractice lawsuit is what ends up directing standard of care.

In 2013, Joseph Elone died suddenly when Lyme disease infected his heart. Doctors had previously ruled out Lyme, based on results from flawed testing.
