👶💙 Feeding a baby isn’t a one-person job — it’s a team effort.

Partners, family, and loved ones can:
✨ Hold the baby so the feeding parent can rest
✨ Keep snacks + water close by
✨ Offer encouragement when it feels tough

When caregivers work together, babies (and parents) thrive. 🍼💙

Semana de la Lactancia Latina (Sept 3rd - Sept 9th)

This week we honor the voices, cultures, and strength of Latinx families. Breastfeeding is deeply connected to identity and community, yet many Latinx parents face unique barriers that can make the journey harder. From access to care, to culturally responsive support, to language justice, these challenges must be recognized and addressed.

The theme “Territory of the Heart / Breastfeeding without Borders” celebrates the heart of Latinx families while calling for a world where every parent has the support they need to feed their baby with dignity, wherever they are.

At Pacify, we join in uplifting Latinx stories and advocating for inclusive care that embraces every culture and every language.

Workplace Lactation Week !

Every parent deserves the right to feed their baby without barriers. Creating breastfeeding-friendly workplaces is not just about pumping rooms or policies. It is about respect, understanding, and real support for working families.

When parents feel supported at work, they are more likely to continue breastfeeding, which benefits both baby and parent’s health. A supportive workplace can make the difference between stress and confidence, between giving up and continuing the journey.

At Pacify, we celebrate the progress being made and stand with all parents who balance career and caregiving. Together, we can build a world where feeding your baby and succeeding at work go hand in hand.

Black Breastfeeding Week! (August 25 to 31)

Since 2014, Black Breastfeeding Week has created space to celebrate, uplift, and advocate for Black families on their feeding journeys. This observance was born out of urgent needs: the high Black infant mortality rate, the lack of representation in the lactation field, and the cultural barriers that too often silence or limit support for Black parents.

This year’s theme, “Boots on the Ground: Rooted in Breastfeeding Success, Grounded in Community Support,” is a call to recognize the grassroots leaders, families, and communities who are building change every single day. Their work reminds us that breastfeeding success is not only about individual effort but also about collective strength, trusted support systems, and access to resources.

Black Breastfeeding Week is a time to honor history, amplify voices, and shine a light on the initiatives that continue to break down barriers and create equity in maternal and infant health.

At Pacify, we proudly stand with Black families, doulas, and advocates who are leading this work. Every parent deserves the opportunity to feed their baby with dignity, support, and care that reflects their culture and community.

Did you know? Your breastmilk can actually change when your baby is sick. It is almost like your body has a built-in system that adapts to your baby’s needs.

When your baby is unwell, their saliva interacts with your body while nursing. This sends signals that prompt your breastmilk to produce targeted antibodies. These antibodies provide your baby with tailored immune protection, helping them fight off illness and recover more quickly (Pediatrics, 2013; La Leche League International, 2020).

At Pacify, our doulas and lactation specialists are here to walk with you through every step of your feeding journey. Whether you need guidance, reassurance, or a listening ear, we are ready to support you and your baby.

💜 Join Pacify today and get access to trusted support during pregnancy, feeding, and beyond. Because you and your baby deserve the very best.

It's AANHPI Breastfeeding Week!
Breastfeeding comes with enough challenges, but for many AANHPI parents, there’s also a lack of guidance that reflects their values, traditions, or lived experiences.

At Pacify, we’ve supported families who felt pressure to stop breastfeeding too early, who were navigating generational expectations, or who just needed honest, compassionate advice without assumptions.

This week is about more than recognition. It’s about making sure AANHPI parents feel supported, respected, and seen, not just during breastfeeding, but throughout their journey.

Indigenous Milk Medicine Week is a time to celebrate the love, strength, and traditions that have been carried in the arms and hearts of Indigenous families for generations.

This year’s theme, “Unapologetically Indigenous: Love, Landback, & Liberation”, reminds us that feeding a child is more than a meal. It is a story. It is a birthright. It is a way of keeping culture alive with every heartbeat and every embrace.

💜 Pacify honors the beauty, wisdom, and deep connection that flows through every feeding moment. These traditions are more than history. They are living, breathing medicine for the future.
