External Affairs Community Liason, Bianca Ward, delivered an engaging presentation at our community meeting, titled Diary of a Virus.

The session provided a valuable examination of the history of HIV/AIDS, focusing on its effects on brown and black communities. Participants gained insight into the shifting perceptions of across generations and the significant advancements in medication and prevention care.

The presentation sparked open discussions and personal reflections, shedding light on the impact of the virus and its representation in public education.

A full house was in attendance 2026 Budget Engagement Forum, where residents from all wards engaged with district agencies on critical issues such as housing, economic business growth, healthcare, and world-class city policies.

We participated in collaborative small-group discussions, utilizing an interactive puzzle to review policy ideas and determine priorities for FY27 funding.
