Navigating the DC PK Lottery 📚🖍🍎

Have you heard about free DC pre-kindergarten, but haven’t yet done the research to figure out how it works or how to enroll your child? Confused about charter schools versus public schools?

Is your child 2 or 3 years old and you want to learn about the lottery process, but are dreading combing through DC government websites to learn more and make your choices?

Pretty savvy about DC public school options (DCPS and charter), but not sure which school is right for your child?

Whatever your level of knowledge, “Navigating the DC Pre-Kindergarten Lottery” will provide insight on DC’s pre-k programs, the lottery system, and your family’s options, helping you find the right fit for your child. The seminar will cover basic eligibility and lottery info, different pre-k models such as Montessori and bilingual programs, sources of data on schools, and tips for finding a school that fits your needs.
