Hope Center for Wellness, LLC is a DC based bilingual and multicultural behavioral health practice focused on the holistic healing of community members. Through compassionate guidance and the use of mental health wellness techniques, we tap into client’s inner possibility to harness hope, balance, and the clarity to adapt behaviors and overcome challenges towards desired goals. Services provided include individual, group and family therapy in person or via TeleMental Health, biopsychosocial mental health evaluations and trainings for organizations, schools and companies on a variety of topics including wellness, self-care, leadership, direct services to Latinos, immigrants and other communities, mindfulness for kids, youth and adults. Founded in November, 2016 by Cheryl Aguilar, LICSW, LCSW-C.

🌟 Insights from the Hope Center Team 🌟 We asked Cheryl, our Director and Mental Health Therapist, about practical self-care habits that people can start implementing today. She shared that honesty is the first step to recognize what we are holding. We can then make space for our needs and interests, like rest, joy, hobbies, dreams, and our mental health. Cheryl often asks herself, “if [her] plate is already full, and [she] says yes to something new, what is [she] saying no to for [herself]?”

As this year comes to a close, we acknowledge what hurt, what weighed heavily, and what tried to silence us.
Still, we remain—growing, resisting, transforming.

This was not an easy year.
But it was a year of deep roots, quiet strength, and moving forward even in uncertainty.

May the new year find us blooming at our own pace. 🌱
Al cerrar este año, reconocemos lo que dolió, lo que pesó y lo que intentó silenciarnos.
Aun así, seguimos aquí—creciendo, resistiendo, transformándonos.
