Hope Center for Wellness, LLC is a DC based bilingual and multicultural behavioral health practice focused on the holistic healing of community members. Through compassionate guidance and the use of mental health wellness techniques, we tap into client’s inner possibility to harness hope, balance, and the clarity to adapt behaviors and overcome challenges towards desired goals. Services provided include individual, group and family therapy in person or via TeleMental Health, biopsychosocial mental health evaluations and trainings for organizations, schools and companies on a variety of topics including wellness, self-care, leadership, direct services to Latinos, immigrants and other communities, mindfulness for kids, youth and adults. Founded in November, 2016 by Cheryl Aguilar, LICSW, LCSW-C.

A few weeks ago we celebrated the completion of In Wellness We Thrive’s summer art-based support group for middle and high school youth in Hyattsville, a program held in partnership with the Hyattsville, Maryland - Municipal Government.🎨✨

Throughout the program, youth used art to explore identity, aspirations, and the meaning of family and community. The final project, a collaborative Beehive, represented the group’s collective identity, while also highlighting each youth’s uniqueness, value, and essential role within the hive. The Beehive served as a symbol of how each student contributes to something bigger than themselves, just like bees in a hive, they all bring something unique, important, and meaningful to our communities.🐝💛 Huge congratulations to our Summer 2025 scholars! 🎓

Special shoutout to our facilitator, Janese Matos, for leading this space with creativity, thoughtfulness and compassion. ❤️

Feeling more positive about ourselves helps with improving relationships, career success, and developing new abilities. 🌈
