A few spots remain in our Interpersonal Psychotherapy Group for Men which is co-led by David A. Heilman, Psy.D. and Rob Williams, MBA, LICSW, CGP. The group meets on Thursday mornings from 8:15am - 9:30am in Dr. Heilman's office building in Dupont Circle. The goals for the members of the group include increasing self-awareness, improving feelings of authentic connection, combatting loneliness/isolation, developing a sense of belongingness with other men, and developing success in forming lasting relationships. I’m so happy to share this article by Gina Sangster, MFA, MSW, in the MAGPS Newsletter on a recent presentation colleagues and I gave at ICP+P on preparing potential group members for group psychotherapy.

What do I know about lions? Not much, but I am just back from Africa, where I trekked to find gorillas in Uganda (a story there!) and then journeyed to Tanzania for a safari.
