🎉 Happy Match Day!

Each year, veterinary students invest an extraordinary amount of time deciding their post-graduate path. Some step directly into practice, while others pursue the highly competitive internship track – often with aspirations of residency and board-certification. There's no one right path forward, but the thrill of Match Day remains. On this day, teaching institutions around the world experience a frenzy of excitement (and disappointment) as students and doctors learn where they will (or won't) be spending the next chapter of their training.

As leaders in our industry, we believe strongly in putting as much thought and consideration into our selection process as those who enter the match. Our team dedicates countless hours to reviewing application packets, conducting interviews and thoughtfully discussing the hundreds of candidates who apply to our programs. It is truly a privilege to meet, train and mentor the next generation of veterinarians as we too continue to learn and grow alongside them. 🐾

Meet our Cardiologists! 🫀🐾 Board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) our experts manage a wide range of congenital and age-related heart diseases.

With advanced diagnostics like echocardiography, ECG, and Holter monitoring 📈 (along with lab work and physical exams 🩺), our cardiologists get to the heart of conditions such as valve disease, cardiomyopathy, hypertension, and arrhythmias — and help make sense of symptoms like coughing, lethargy, breathing difficulties, and weakness. ❤️‍🩹

In addition to our full-time, in-hospital cardiologists, Dr. Chris McLaughin, Dr. Lisa Murphy and Dr. Graham Rossi, every one of our hospitals benefit from the expertise and collaboration of our Network Cardiologist, Dr. Jordan Vitt 🤝💙

From expanding services and facilities at VCSG, Coral Springs, and Quartet to opening Friendship's second building and VERG's 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY - we have much to celebrate! But at the end of the day, it's our teams that are most deserving of celebration. 🩺🐾

Anyone who has worked in emergency and specialty vet med knows it's not for the faint of heart. Long days, difficult cases, the highest of highs and the lowest of lows are all part of the gig - and our doctors, technicians, assistants, client services teams, coordinators, managers and hospital leaders show up every single day to deliver exceptional care.
