Dr. Tina Alster established Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in 1990 as the first independent laser center in the world. Her vision was to create a modern, state-of-the-art facility that combined the best clinical practice with the latest treatment innovations. It has always been important that she and the other physicians on her team deliver the latest technologic advances to our patients and lead the industry with our expertise and innovative treatment protocols.

We have helped to develop specialized laser and other cosmetic techniques, including trials that helped secure FDA approval for technologies and products like Botox, Restylane, Fraxel, Thermage, CoolSculpting, and Ulthera. Our treatments are used by physicians worldwide and are considered standard in the industry.
