I was no Olympian, but I had plenty of fun on the ice. ⛸️

A throwback to when Skating magazine featured a “Where Are They Now?” spotlight on alumnae of the 2000 USFSA Academic Scholarship Team. A few snapshots from my competitive skating days, along with moments from later on, when I had the chance to give back to the sport I loved by coaching Learn to Skate during my college years at the Ice Rink. (My eyebrows were plucked almost to extinction, but don’t worry they survived the 90s).

✨ The Power of Diastasis Repair ✨
The re**us abdominis muscles, often known as the “six-pack” muscles, run vertically on either side of your belly button. During pregnancy, these muscles can separate — a condition called re**us diastasis — as the growing uterus puts pressure on the abdominal wall.
Despite dedicated post-partum core workouts, some women find that these muscles remain separated, creating a persistent “pregnant” appearance. This can be incredibly frustrating, especially for those who have worked hard to regain their pre-pregnancy shape.

Happy Valentine’s Day to my loves! I’m a lucky woman to be with my husband, and this life we’ve created together has been pretty great. The night before our wedding, he surprised everyone (myself included) and sang this adorable, cheesy song to me (“Forever and Ever Amen”). Thankfully, he had some good friends as back up vocals. 💙 In Loving Memory of Sara 💙
This summer, we lost our dear friend, an incredible mother of two, and a devoted wife, Sara, to gastric cancer. She was a force—an attorney by day, a Girl Scout mom on weekends, and the loudest cheerleader at summer swim meets. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends are deeply missed.
