Another Teacher Training weekend in the books! This time, we dove deep into integrity — showing up with self-awareness, accountability, responsibility, and truth. When you live by your deepest values, you speak with honesty and keep your word.

Our trainees explored The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and participated in Chandler’s Low Back, Pelvis, Core & More workshop. Big conversations and bold insights, this was a great weekend all around!

✨Teacher Spotlight: Shannon Garvey✨

Meet Shannon! She’s been teaching at Down Dog for the past 10 years and her welcoming presence brings so much joy to our studio.

Shannon says her favorite yoga pose is, “Wheel—strong and open!” Off the mat, she has 8 children, teaches science, and is either hiking or in the pool!

We’re so grateful to have Shannon as a part of our Down Dog community.

We are officially halfway through Yoga Teacher Training 2025! Time has flown by.

This weekend’s word was COLLABORATION. Teacher trainees gave anatomy presentations, participated in Jennifer Wright’s centerline workshop, and showed up in community together.

We are so proud of them as they continue to learn and grow!
