Power In Sisters - Sister Power - PSSP is a Resource Center for Women to get vital information for their personal and professional growth, but also a place where we could embrace our special sisterhood and uniqueness. You can expect information seminars on financial literacy, health and wellness, beauty, style, entrepreneurship, politics and more. At PSSP We Advocate and Support the Leaders who support families who encounter the barriers that inhibit the advancement or full participation in the workforce and housing environments in the United States. Since 1995 PSSP has provided business professionals, social solution counselors and non-profit organizational leadership with the tools, data, training and proper engagement skills to assist in breaking the cycle of poverty. PSSP provides in-depth certification programs for strategic leaders in each of these organizations. PSSP offers membership to the Powerful Social Solution Providers Program: The Group of dynamic members in this service program helps to rebuild the opportunities for the underserved in education, workforce readiness, family reunification, housing, mental health services, arts, and healthy recreation, empowerment services and faith services. PSSP core foundation is in Positive Strong Sister Power which we have fostered with a Sisterhood of Women of all Ages Worldwide. We empower a diverse population of Women Leaders to achieve a successful global and community engagement and change, through multi-cultural, comprehensive, and innovative programs that address social, academic, and career needs. We measure our progress and provide social data to program leaders to advance their ability to be effective. We provide Families With:
Crisis intervention; Individual, group and family counseling;
Psychosocial assessments; Advocacy; Referrals; Intensive case management; Spiritual Guidance and
Transportation. Power In Sisters- Sister Power Events are an opportunity for Women and Families to Feel Empowered! We Engage Our Families At Each Event keeping in mind that everyone has a different background and story, celebrities and other guests attend the events to talk about their experiences and answer questions, giving you an insight on the obstacles they've had to overcome to get to where they are today.
