Grace Ogden

Grace Ogden is a longtime Mindfulness Meditation teacher who draws on a nearly 30-year practice of mindfulness and meditation for her teaching. She holds the honor of Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher from the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society where she received her advanced formal training.

Her intensive study of mindfulness began with the renowned Vietnamese Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh in 1989 and her other major influences include the Dalai Lama, Sharon Salzberg, Pema Chödrön, B. Alan Wallace and Mark Epstein, M.D.

Grace lives the work in daily life and appreciates how group learning supports each person’s efforts to improve health and well-being. She knows mindfulness is an unparalleled tool for genuine self-care and she delights in helping other people discover its benefits for their own lives and those of others around them.
