Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan is facing rumors that he fathered a second child out of wedlock with Taiwanese actress Lu Hsiu Ling.

The speculation surfaced on Weibo on Monday afternoon, quickly becoming one of the platform’s most discussed topics, amassing over 3 million views and hundreds of thousands of comments.

According to the rumors, many years ago, Lu and Chan had a son together. However, as Chan was already married to Taiwanese actress Joan Lin at the time, Lu kept the relationship and their child a secret for over 30 years.

Neither Chan nor Lu have commented publicly on the allegations.

At 71, Chan is regarded as one of the most iconic martial artists in film history. Over a career spanning more than six decades, he has appeared in over 150 domestic and international films.

He gained widespread recognition with his breakthrough role in the 1978 kung fu action comedy "Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow," followed by similar action films that solidified his fame. Chan later achieved international stardom for his role in the "Rush Hour" series, an American buddy cop action-comedy franchise.

Chan married Lin in 1982, and the couple shares a son, Jaycee Chan. He also has a daughter out of wedlock with Hong Kong actress Elaine Ng, who was crowned Miss Asia in 1990.

Lu, 63, is best known for her roles in TV dramas adapted from the novels of Taiwanese author Chiung Yao.

Thai pageant winner Suphannee "Baby" Noinonthong was stripped of her Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan 2026 title just one day after winning. The pageant committee said she "engaged in activities that do not align with the spirit and principles contestants are required to uphold."

This decision came after videos surfaced showing her in revealing clothes, dancing, and using an e-cigarette. The former beauty queen apologized on Facebook, explaining her past explicit content was due to financial struggles to care for her late, bedridden mother.

Noinonthong said she has since learned a valuable lesson and is committed to improving herself. She also stated that some of her content was used by illegal gambling websites without her consent, and she plans to file a police report against them.

A Taiwanese court has ruled on the division of late actress Barbie Hsu's US$18.2 million estate. The decision allocates one-third to her current husband, South Korean musician DJ Koo, and the remaining two-thirds to her two children.

Since the children are still minors, their father and Hsu's ex-husband, Wang Xiaofei, will manage their inheritance until they turn 18. He also retains legal guardianship of the children.

Adding to the complexity, Wang is reportedly still dealing with a lawsuit over Hsu's estate from their divorce, with allegations that he owes over US$7.6 million in unpaid loans and mortgage related to her former residence.

Despite the legal and financial issues, a harmonious blended family dynamic was observed during Wang's recent visit to Taiwan, where he was seen with his daughter and new wife, Mandy Ma.

While many online praised Mandy Ma for "filling the maternal gap," some criticized Wang Xiaofei for sharing photos of his daughter on social media, going against his late wife's wishes for privacy. Despite the mixed reactions, Wang Hsi Yueh seemed to have a happy day, complete with a Chanel handbag from her dad and a trip to pick out a new pet.

In the middle of a bullfight, matador Álvaro Múnera did something no one expected.

The crowd was roaring, the bull lunged with fury, and Álvaro raised his cape for the final strike. Then—he stopped. Instead of finishing the fight, he lowered himself to the ground and simply sat. Silence fell over the arena.

Later, he explained: “I no longer saw danger in the horns. I only looked into his eyes. They weren’t filled with rage, but with innocence. He wasn’t attacking—he was pleading for his life. This wasn’t a fight… it was cruelty.”

In that moment, Múnera dropped the sword. He walked away from bullfighting forever.

But his transformation didn’t end there. Álvaro became an outspoken activist against animal cruelty. He spoke in schools, wrote, and joined organizations to defend animals. He taught that empathy is stronger than tradition, and that true courage is refusing to harm—even when the world expects you to.

Critics called him a traitor to his culture, but he stood firm. Today, his story inspires thousands. The matador who once killed for applause now fights for compassion, showing that one moment of recognition—one glance into another being’s eyes—can change everything
